My Baby is 1
Hard to believe a year ago I was just getting home with my new baby girl!!! The emotions and thoughts are rushing back!!!!
Can I do this again and do I remember what to do? I forgot how much this hurts...etc. I could go on and on! But the one emotion and thought I have not forgotten is, how much I am in love with her and how it felt so good to be a mom of two!!!!
Bria is not what we thought since we waited until she was born to find out. We were all sure she was a boy!!! Even the Dr. was convinced! She was a huge surprise and has not stopped surprising us since.
She is a lot like her sister and also so much NOT like her sister. She is loud and likes to scream, she is into everything and puts everything in her mouth. She does not like it when you take things from her and she lets you know it and she smiles at me when I tell her to stop doing something or not to touch certain thing. Needless to say she has and will keep me on my toes!!!! I am so glad they are different in so many ways :)
The other big difference is when Bria started crawling, OK some of you are thinking so what, that is what all kids do...well not my children. Hannah never crawled and only scooted on her bottom. So when Bria started crawling it was so awesome to watch. I felt like she was my first all over again (which was so cool). Pulling up is another first for me.
She is curious and loves to do what her sister does. She will also be the one who will want to do everything on her own:)
So a couple of days before her 1st birthday, I decided to let her try a cupcake to see what she would do. (Hannah barely touched her cake)
I cut it in half and she picked up one half in her left hand and the other half in her right hand and stuffed her mouth with the cake. Left hand first and then right hand. She continued this pattern until the cup cake was gone!!!! It was priceless and Hannah and I were laughing our heads off!!!
So the big day came and the family gathered to watch her eat her little cake I made for her. It was a prefect little round cake with a pink "B" on it. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story!!!!
Happy 1st Birthday Baby Bria!!! Mommy, Daddy and Hannah love you so much!!!!
Bria: " Oh, another one of these things I get to eat, yum! I think I am going to use both hands this time"
Bria: " Oh, this is sooooooo goooooooooood, sugar rush....hey, everyone is laughing at me...OK how about this face....this is so much fun"
Bria: " OK, everyone I am done being your entertainment for now.......all done Mommy"
As you can see she had a blast and she was pretty funny to watch!!! When she is done this is her sign for " all done " That's my girl!!!!
The cake never stood a chance :)
