The Next Chapter

The summer is ending and the school year is beginning!! A new chapter is starting for my mom!!! As we say goodbye to the last seven months of finding out she HAD breast cancer to chemo, side effects, hair loss, radiation and recovery, and I am excited to see what this new chapter brings for my mom. She is a kindergarten teacher and seems to be excited about starting another year. How many years is it now mom???? (maybe her last year, Yay...no pressure)

Mom no longer wears her wig and is strutting around with her new look and a sense of new life!!! So to end the last 7 months with a bang we took one last picture at the beach with our shirts on!!! I LOVEEEEE these pictures because despite all the scary moments and the unknown of what my mom would go through, we can celebrate that she has fought like a girl and beat cancer!!! So we decided to do a fist up for fighting cancer!

The facial expressions make me smile and laugh every time I look at them!!!

Just to give you a little background of these pictures and why we took so many was because my sister Kathi, on the far left, kept making the weirdest faces!! LOL!!!

Ok so we all have crazy faces but my sister Kathi's face keeps cracking me up!!! My stomach is killing me!! Seriously are you kidding!!!! What in the world...I would not want to meet her in a dark alley with that face!! LOLLLLLLLL....I am dying somebody call the paramedics!!!!!!
